The first 2010 commit for the USF Bulls, Carnes has been receiving attention from college coaches since his freshman year. As quarterback and leader of one of the state’s top high school programs, Carnes has his sights set on a state championship in 2009.
TEMPLE UNIVERSITY
The physical 6’5″ receiver with cotton-soft hands will be looked at to contribute immediately as a true freshman for Temple’s offense next season.
WAGNER COLLEGE
The 6’3″ 280 pound second-team all-Commonwealth District guard moves very well for his size and has excellent footwork. He’ll use the same blocking scheme at Wagner that he did in high school.
TULANE UNIVERSITY
A multi-sport standout at one of Central Florida’s top high schools, Jacks is headed to Tulane next fall on a football scholarship to play for the Green Wave.
STETSON UNIVERSITY
A 6-foot guard who averaged 16 points and excelled defensively in helping Orlando Christian Prep win the Class 1A state boys basketball championship as a junior, Tyshawn will play next year at nearby Stetson.
NEW MEXICO STATE
Named all-conference and all-area as a junior, Michael prepped for a year before signing with New Mexico State, where he is currently enrolled and competing for playing time during spring practice.
EASTERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY
The 6’7″ 233 pound quarterback takes his towering frame and rocket right arm to Ypsilanti next fall to play for the EMU Eagles.

Rumph will compete against prep teammates Chaz Sutton and Ronald Byrd, as he faces stiff competition from South Carolina and the rest of the SEC every week this fall.

A physical run-stopper from New Jersey, Erwin will join prep teammate Troy Russell next fall on the defensive side of the ball as a Maine Black Bear.

After winning two state championships in high school, Alex turned down several offers from top schools and in the end, chose to become a Tar Heel at the University of North Carolina.

One of the hardest working players on his team the past two years, Brandon saw his hard work pay off when he accepted a scholarship offer from ODU. Brandon will be a cornerstone of a program that begins Division-I competition this fall.

A hard-hitting defender, Jelani also excels on the offensive side of the ball. Ohio University has added a tremendous athlete whose versatility will prove valuable for the Bobcats next year.

Starring at quarterback during his prep career for one of the top high school programs in all of Texas, Chase took his game across state to Houston where he red-shirted this fall for Texas Southern.
